How to get there

Catalonia has four commercial airports: Barcelona-El Prat, Girona-Costa Brava, Reus and Lleida-Alguaire.

Barcelona Airport is about 13 km from the city and has two terminals (T1 and T2), which are linked to the city by a bus service. From outside the terminals you can a take or a bus to the centre of Barcelona. T2 is also linked by a walkway to the train station where you can take a train into the city.

Girona Airport  serves the Costa Brava and the Girona regions. There are coaches to Barcelona.

Reus Airport serves southern Catalonia and is very close to Tarragona. Coaches run between the airport and the city of Reus, and stop at the train station.

Lleida Airport links western Catalonia with a number of destinations. You can get to the city of Lleida, about 15 km away, by taxi.

The main international stations are in Barcelona. The Estació de França train station links Catalonia with France, Switzerland and Italy, and Estació de Sants is the end of the line for trains from Portugal and the rest of Spain.

Both stations belong to Renfe, which offers information and ticket sales online.

The Estació de Nord coach station in Barcelona is the arrival and departure point for international coaches that run at all hours.
