NAFSA 2019 Annual Conference & Expo. The Association of International Educators (NAFSA) is the largest non-profit international organisation in the world dedicated to university education.

NAFSA will hold the 31st edition of its annual conference from 26 to 31 May 2019 in Washington, D.C. (USA).

The theme of the conference in 2019 will be: 'Global Leadership, Learning and Change', a phrase that encourages reflection on the current state of higher education and on how to work through the changes and challenges faced: immigration, health, safety, how we welcome students and successful leadership. Ultimately, the conference will examine how the present is affecting the future and the strategies to follow.

The expo will bring together over 9,000 international educators from more than 100 countries to analyse and discuss strategies for successful internationalisation programmes.

The delegation from Catalonia will be participating with its own stand for the ninth time. It took part in 2009 in Los Angeles (California), in 2010 in Kansas City (Missouri), in 2012 in Houston (Texas), in 2014 in San Diego (California), in 2015 in Boston (Massachusetts), in 2016 in Denver (Colorado), in 2017 in Los Angeles (California) and in 2018 in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), all in the USA.
